Cincinnati is a city in the southwestern part of the state of Ohio. It is near the Kentucky border. The population of Cincinnati is about 333,000. The MSA has a population nearly 2.2 million. Founded in 1788, the city has a colorful history. The climate ranges from winter low temperature of around 21 degrees to a summer high temperature of of 86 degrees. Famous people with ties to Cincinnati include James Brown, Dinah Shore, Doris Day, and Merle Travis. Local sports teams include major league baseball's Cincinnati Reds, NFL football's Cincinnati Bengals, and soccers Cincinnati Kings. The area is served by the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG). Highways in the Cincinnati area include Interstate 75 (I-75), I-71, I-74, and I-275.
